by | Mar 28, 2013 | Articles, Branding | 0 comments

Yet Another Reason to Join the Adobe Creative Cloud

In case you didn’t know about Adobe Creative Cloud, it is Adobe’s paid subscription service where you can pay a reasonable fee ($49.99 per month for new members, $29.99 per month for upgraded members) and you are able to download all of Adobe’s wonderful programs and use them for your professional design projects. You can download programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Lightroom, and all of the other Adobe Programs. As a member, you get 20GB of storage for your digital files, and you can host up to 5 of your own websites. This is a killer deal, considering that you can expect to pay $1200- $2000 for an upgrade from one version to the next. However, if you are a subscriber and continue to pay monthly, you will always have access to the latest version of every product and app that they come out with. Upgrades are included, and they are always adjusting and adding new features.

Adobe Creative Cloud

As if all of this wasn’t more than enough of a reason to switch to the Adobe Creative Cloud, now Behance, the professional online portfolio website, has announced that as an Adobe Creative Cloud Member, you will have access to your own Prosite Portfolio subscription, free of charge. it is included with your Adobe Creative Cloud membership. This is excellent, because now you can add your portfolio items to the professional level portfolio on Behance, further promoting your work to other designers and developers, as well as people looking to hire them.

Having your work in as many places on the web as possible will only further promote your work and your career. Behance is one of the largest online portfolio sites for professional designers out there today. With Prosite, you can customize the look of your portfolio and give it the professional polish that it deserves. You can add captions and comments to every project, allowing you to explain the motices and actions behind your work, and how you arrived at that particular solution.

I have my own personal portfolio site, but I jumped at the opportunity to have a Prosite as well, simply because Behance is so popular, easy to use, and it connects with the most popular social networks, such as Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. The Adobe Creative Cloud is getting better and better, with the inclusion of TypeKit, access to Edge, and Muse, as well as anything else Adobe can come up with. it is becoming more and more difficult not to be enticed by Adobe and their Creative Cloud Service. It is easy to use, affordable, and it has a ton of perks. You will definitely get your money’s worth.
