I love when designers re-create interfaces from popular platforms like Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Zach Buechler has created a mockup of instant grand user interface, which makes it the free PSD file of the week. For being his first Photoshop mockup, Zach has done a wonderful job re-creating the Instagram look and feel. You can tell instantly that this is Instagram’s interface from the look of its user interface elements. You can download the free Photoshop file directly from Zack’s Dribbble page. Along with the Photoshop file he has three PNG files you might want to take a look at as well. I’m impressed by the detail of Zach’s first mockup in Photoshop. It’s pretty much spot on for looking just like Instagram. If you read the comments on his Dribbble page, he has taken into account several user interface elements that are standards based, which means a lot of thought went into the making of this mockup.
